Jo is an award-winning cinematographer with an emphasis on visual storytelling. He won the Best Cinematography award at the Burbank International Film Festival for his work on En Pointe. He was selected from over 2,000 applicants as one of four cinematographers in ColorCreative’s Find Your People Program–a leadership program created by Issa Rae and Deniese Davis for the opportunity to develop and produce a short film. He holds an MFA in Cinematography at the American Film Institute.
